Joana Sofia Gândara Fernandes

Bio:

  • Joana Fernandes has a degree in Philosophy (2018) from the University of Minho, Braga.
  • She speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.
  • She is currently doing the second year of her Master’s Degree in Digital Humanities at the University of Minho.
  • She is currently doing an internship at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory-INL-integrated in the Masters course.
  • In December 2020, she published an article in collaboration with her Masters colleagues in the online magazine H2D Humanidades Digitais entitled “The gamification of the learning process: Languages and Humanities”.
  • She and her fellow masters developed a gaming app called “Nano Submarine” in collaboration with INL using Buildbox.
  • She is resourceful, goal-oriented, driven, and adaptable.

Ana Luísa da Mota Antunes Ribeiro

  • Ana Luisa Ribeiro a degree in Applied Languages (2019) from the University of Minho.
  • She is currently in her second year on the master’s degree of Digital Humanities at University of Minho.
  • She is currently an intern at siosLIFE, a software company.
  • She speaks English, Spanish, Italian and French.
  • Since 2017, she has been studying mandarin and Korean.
  • In 2020, she had a published article along with her colleagues in the H2D online called “Digital Methodological pathways applied in literary education”.
  • She and her colleagues created a game in 2020 called “Healthy Mania” using the software BuildBox for INL (International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory).

Nancy Amaral Gonçalves

Bio:

  • Nancy Gonçalves completed her degree in Applied Languages in the University of Minho in 2019.
  • She is currently in her second year in the University of Minho taking her master’s degree in Digital Humanities.
  • She is currently participating in an internship in a software company called siosLife.
  • She currently knows the English, Portuguese, French and the Spanish language.
  • She had published with a group of her colleagues in her master’s degree an article in the H2D online in 2020 called “Digital methodological pathways applied in literary education”.
  • In 2020, she and her group in the subject of Content Creation in Virtual Environment created a game called “Healthy Mania” using the software BuildBox for the INL (International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory).
  • She is a hard-working, ambitious, dedicated individual who is constantly looking to improve and who faces all challenges with a motivating spirit.

Ricardo Ramiro

Bio:

  • Ricardo Ramiro has a degree on Computer Science from UFP.
  • He was an Erasmus student in Lodz, Poland.
  • He is currently studying a Multimedia and Graphical Master’s degree on ISEP.
  • He was an INOV Contacto practioner in Altran Innovation Spain.
  • He worked as an IT consultant for more than seven years in Madrid, Barcelona and London.

Ana Sofia Marques

Bio:

  • Ana Sofia Marques Nogueira has a degree in European Languages and Literatures from the University of Minho.
  • She is currently finishing a master’s degree in Digital Humanities at the University of Minho.
  • She will be developing a gamified virtual tour as an internship project for the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL).
  • In 2020, she and her master’s degree colleagues had an article published in the Digital Humanities online journal H2D titled “The gamification of the learning process: Languages and humanities”.
  • Along with her master’s colleagues, she developed a mobile game for children named “Nano Submarine” in collaboration with INL about one of their fields of research – water quality – using Buildbox.
  • Also during her master’s, she developed an Augmented Reality and a Virtual Reality app, both made using Unity.

Sofia Canelas

Affiliation: ISEP - P.PORTO

Bio:

  • Sofia Canelas is currently a Master’s Degree student on Informatics Engineering, specialized in the field of Graphic Systems and Multimedia, from ISEP.
  • She has a degree in Design in Multimedia from FCTUC and an artistic specialized course in Communication Design, with specialization in Multimedia and Web Design from EASR.

Main interests: UI/UX Design, Web Design, Graphic Design and Interactive Media. Her purpose is to offer creative solutions through design, innovation and technology.

Miguel Sousa

Affiliation: ISEP – P.PORTO

Bio:

  • Miguel Sousa is currently a Master’s Degree student on Informatics Engineering, specialized in the field of Graphic Systems and Multimedia, from ISEP.
  • He has a degree in Computer Engeneering at ESTG.  
  • Currently working as a frontend developer in a company that works in the pharmaceutical area
  • Apart from being a web developer, he is also a Photography enthusiast
  • Currently he is writting a thesis for his masters based on The usage of Virtual Assistants for Online Gambling
  • Also he  purposes to develop na interactive website for siis

João Tomás Barreira

Bio:

  • João Tomás Barreira is currently a Master’s Degree student on Informatics Engineering, specialized in the field of Graphic Systems and Multimedia, from ISEP. 
  • He has a degree in Computer Engineering from Lusófona University of Porto.
  • Currently working on his Master’s Degree Thesis on developing an Interface Software between BCIs and (mainly) electric wheel chairs.

José Campos

Affiliation: ISEP/ESMAD/P.PORTO

Bio:

  • Graduate and postgraduate courses in computer engineering and networks at Universiade Lusíada.
  • Main focus of work in the area of ​​software development, training and systems administration.
  • Employee of the Polytechnic of Porto since 2006 whose main functions as a systems administrator.
  • Currently attending the Master of Computer Systems at ISEP.

System Administration: Windows and Linux Servers, directory, networks and web services.

Cândida Cunha

Affiliation: Higher Institute of Languages and Administration.

Bio:

  • Cândida Cunha has a degree in Communication from Instituto Superior de Línguas e Administração.
  • Her is currently in the second year of the Master’s in Communication Sciences – Specialization in Political Communication, at Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto.
  • Her professional career as an advanced technician has developed in public administration.
